We are seeking a competent, experienced BIM Modeler with BIM/CAD expertise to work with Leica Cyclone point cloud scans and produce accurate 2D and 3D BIM models of UK domestic properties.

Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to import property (B2G) scans, merge and clean them up, and convert them to RCP files.
The candidate is expected to be highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD or similar to produce domestic property floor plans, sections and elevations, in order to be able to design & calculate the outputs of installing energy saving measures on domestic properties.
A thorough knowledge of UK domestic property & building archetypes and M&E; services is highly desirable.
The work involves creating drawings, elevations, floor plans, sections, 3D / 4D BIM, energy modelling scenarios, detailing, schedules and building construction drawings, for combinations of energy efficiency measures.
The ability to undertake Psi / FrSI calculations to demonstrate the outcomes is highly desirable.

Desired Candidate Profile




The candidate will be working/collaborating on projects with clients from the UK.
The candidate will ideally hold an internationally recognised Architect qualification. Preference will be given to UK-qualified Architects or candidates holding ARB, MCIAT, MCIOB or M / FRICS as long as they are competent to fulfil the stated role.
Experience in executing and coordinating Building Information Modelling (BIM) works over-laying fabric improvement measures to determine full SAP improvements.
We are open to suggestions for the exact software / modelling approach as long as it is under-pinned by Full SAP (On-Construction SAP), based on current UK standards.
