Basic Qualifications
Experience with teaching and/or mentoring
5+ years' project or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing or being involved in a Maker program
Maker enthusiast, crafter, & tinkerer at heart
Strong mechanical background (ability to fix Maker equipment)
Experience with equipment listed below
Experience with shop safety protocols
Experience working with outside vendors
Robust interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships at all levels within the organization.
Ability to influence senior leaders on program goals and gain participation.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and thrive in a quick-paced environment.
Tech savvy, with strong written and oral communication skills.




Proven ability to improve and create processes within the organization to create efficiencies and clarity.
Excellent team player, but also has the ability to work independently and make decisions.
Demonstrated track record of coordinating and supporting successful events and communications.
Willing and able to travel when needed.
Experience managing vendors and contracts.
Experience working on a global team and building relationships virtually.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to be highly productive and proactive with supporting key stakeholders
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup setting
