Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding (Air & Sea).
Develop and maintain solid relationships with exporters, importers, and logistics partners.
Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Manage and oversee the sales team across the organization, providing guidance and support to ensure team performance and target achievement.
Monitor team performance and ensure alignment with the company’s sales strategies and business objectives.
Prepare rate quotations, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
Coordinate with operations and documentations teams to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, trade fairs, and other business development activities to promote services, build professional relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
Prepare and submit sales reports, performance reports,



and business updates as prescribed by the management from time to time.

· Goal from day one is to attain a sales performance equivalent to three times of your salary, making you eligible for sales incentive as outlined in the current terms of the company.

Key Requirements

· 5–7 years of proven experience in freight forwarding/logistics sales.

· Robust existing customer base with active revenue generation.

· Good knowledge of international freight (Air & Sea), customs clearance.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Target-driven with strong networking ability.
Ability to work independently while also leading and motivating a sales team.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
