Key Responsibilities
Conservation Management
Document and maintain conservation records for the
Museum's collections, ensuring their preservation.
Implement conservation protocols to maintain the safety and
integrity of collections.
Preventive Conservation
Work with colleagues to develop and implement strategies
and protocols to ensure that the collections receive an
appropriate standard of care as per international best
practice.
Assist in developing and implementing storage and
environmental monitoring measures.
Support preventive conservation efforts such as routine
maintenance, periodic evaluations, and emergency planning
for safeguarding collections against potential damage.
Collaboration and Research
Collaborate with internal teams and external conservation
experts to support preservation projects.
Undertake research relevant to conservation and stay
informed of developments in the field.

Qualifications & Experience
MA Conservation or MA in relevant subject + diploma in
Conservation (essential).
Prior experience of at least 5 years in museum conservation or
private conservation studios essential.

Experience in conserving
mixed materials preferred.
