Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and agile Nuclear Medicine Consultant to join our department. You will be responsible for administering diagnostic scans, delivering targeted radionuclide therapies, and maintaining rigorous radiation safety protocol.
Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnostic Imaging: Interpret and report PET-CT, SPECT-CT, and general nuclear medicine scans.
Radionuclide Therapy: Plan and administer therapeutic treatments like I-131, PRRT, and PSMA.
Patient Management: Assess medical histories, determine radiopharmaceutical dosages, and monitor patient safety.
Radiation Safety: Enforce radiation safety protocols and ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Team Collaboration: Consult with oncologists, radiologists, and surgeons during multidisciplinary tumor boards.
Quality Assurance: Oversee daily scanner calibrations and guide nuclear medicine technologists and physicists.
Clinical Records: Document accurate diagnostic reports and maintain complete treatment records.
