Vedanta, an owner-driven critical minerals, hydrocarbons and energy company, operates a USD 30 billion portfolio and contributes 1.4% to India's GDP. As part of its next phase of growth, the Group is building out its real estate business and is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the strategic growth and value maximisation of its real estate portfolio, with a focus on unlocking value from land assets and residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
Formulate and execute the business strategy to maximise the value of the real estate portfolio, with a focus on unlocking value from the land bank and existing assets.
Enhance the value of the land bank through optimal land use, development approvals, and strategic asset management.
Drive monetisation through sales, leasing, joint developments, and strategic partnerships.
Develop recent real estate platforms across industrial, logistics, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Deliver sustainable growth in revenue,



profitability, cash flows, and return on capital, with timely execution of projects.
Strengthen governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and build a high-performance organisation.

Candidate Profile
15+ years of experience in real estate or an adjacent sector, with a proven record of value creation across land, residential, and commercial assets at scale.
Demonstrated success in monetisation through sales, leasing, joint development, and strategic partnerships.
Exposure to industrial, logistics, commercial, and mixed-use platforms will be an advantage.
A techno-commercial mindset, balancing capital allocation efficiency with speed of execution, and leveraging technology and AI to accelerate outcomes.
Solid stakeholder command across regulators, partners, investors, and internal teams.
A relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
