The Love Hope
Chennai
About the role The Love Hope Company (TLHC) is an integrated mental health ecosystem in Chennai spanning four verticals — Book a Couch (adult therapy), FourCups (children & families), Love Hope Academy (practitioner training) and Love Hope Community (events & peer support) — with Love Hope Foundation and Love Hope Studio now scaling alongside them. Today, every marketing decision from brand tone, campaign strategy, content approval, paid ad direction routes through the Founder. This role exists to end that.
The Senior Marketing
Manager becomes the strategic owner of TLHC's brand voice and organic growth engine across all verticals, so the Founder can step back from day-to-day approvals and focus on running the business.
What you'll own
- Brand standard — across BAC, FourCups, LHA, Community, Foundation and Studio, in partnership with the Founder and become the reference point the rest of the team checks against instead of escalating to her.
- Content calendar — spanning organic social, blogs/SEO,AEO, GEO, email/WhatsApp nurture, and event/workshop promotion sequencing content across verticals so nothing collides or cannibalizes attention.
- Team — directly manage the Social Media Manager and Content Writer; direct Creative (design) on priorities and briefs; coordinate with the Coordination/Events function so promo content lines up with real event timelines.
- Paid media oversight — TLHC runs paid ads through freelancers. You won't execute campaigns yourself, but you will read performance, sanity-check spend and targeting, brief freelancers on messaging/creative direction so paid and organic stay one coherent voice, and flag when paid results don't match what organic engagement is telling us about the audience.
- Reporting — own monthly reporting on organic KPIs — reach, saves, shares, inbound DMs/inquiries,
referral-attributed conversions and present it to the Founder as a strategy review, not a status update.
- Campaigns & collabs — plan and brief content/promo support for workshops, launches and collaborations (e.g. the Neuberg Diagnostics partnership, LHA cohort launches, Foundation campaigns) alongside the events/coordination function.
What we need from you
- Experience — 3–5 years in marketing, with real ownership of a brand or content engine — ideally at a D2C, startup, healthcare or wellness-adjacent company. We're more interested in something you built from near-zero than a channel you managed inside an existing machine.
- Working knowledge of paid media — comfortable reading Meta/Google Ads dashboards, briefing and holding freelancers accountable, and translating ad performance into plain-language direction — you don't need to be a performance marketer yourself, but you can't be intimidated by the numbers.
- Judgment — you can push back on the Founder, not just execute her taste. If you only do what you're told, you haven't removed the bottleneck — you've added a relay.
- Tone sensitivity — mental health content has almost no tolerance for generic “wellness” positivity-speak. TLHC's whole differentiation is that it doesn't perform wellness, it redefines it. We need someone who feels that distinction instinctively, not someone who defaults to soft, vague “journey” language.
- People management — proven experience hiring, briefing and managing a small creative/content team.
What success looks like
- First 30 days: brand-standard doc live and being used; content calendar running across all verticals without daily Founder input; freelancer paid-ads relationship transitioned to you.
- By month 6: Founder approval needed only for brand-defining moments (major launches, founder-voice content, crisis comms) — everything else runs through you.
