We are hiring: Senior Student Counsellor – Student Wellbeing
Kumaraguru Institutions, Coimbatore, is looking for an experienced counselling qualified to support the emotional wellbeing and psychological needs of students across our higher-education ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counselling to students
Support students in managing stress, anxiety, academic pressure, relationships, adjustment and other personal concerns
Handle crisis intervention and facilitate appropriate professional referrals
Conduct student-wellbeing and mental-health awareness programmes
Collaborate with faculty, mentors, parents and institutional teams while maintaining professional confidentiality
Candidate Profile:




Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology or Medical & Psychiatric Social Work
Relevant professional certification or registration will be preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in counselling or psychological support
Prior experience in counselling students in a college or university environment is mandatory
Sound understanding of professional ethics, confidentiality, case documentation and referral protocols
