nPolicybazaar is hiring an experienced Deputy Sales Manager to lead the Direct Channel business for our Insurance vertical in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in field sales, team management, and business development, with the ability to drive regional sales performance and manage large multi-level teams.

nKey Responsibilities:

Drive regional business growth and achieve sales targets for the Insurance business.
n
Lead and manage a large field sales team comprising:
n
Assistant Managers (AM)
n
Team Leaders (TL)
n
Field Sales Executives (FSE)
n
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue.
n
Monitor team performance, productivity, and target achievement.
n
Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
n
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
n
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify business opportunities.
n
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
n

nDesired Candidate Profile

n

n




Minimum 15+ years of experience in Sales, preferably in Insurance, BFSI, or Financial Services.
n
Proven experience in managing regional sales operations and multi-layer field sales teams.
n
Solid leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
n
Experience in Direct Channel (Open Market) sales is mandatory.
n
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
n
Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution.
n
Handled more than 200+ employees.
n
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
n

Saturday & Sunday are mandatory working days
n
One rotational weekly off.
