Job Title: Design Engineer (SolidWorks & CAD Operator)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks & CAD operator to join our kitchen equipment manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D/3D drawings, fabrication drawings, and layouts for commercial kitchen equipment as per project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for commercial kitchen equipment.

Develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.

Create and modify sheet metal drawings, including bends, thickness, and welding details.

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM) as per drawings.

Coordinate with the production, QC, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.

Update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and design changes.





Ensure drawings comply with food-grade standards, safety norms, and company guidelines.

Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.

Support installation and commissioning teams with technical clarifications when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and sheet metal design.

Robust knowledge of SS fabrication, welding symbols, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to read and interpret kitchen layouts, SFDs, and technical drawings.

Basic knowledge of BOM, BOQ, and costing support is preferred.

Valuable communication and coordination skills.
