About the Role

RD Bytes is looking for a creative and driven Video Editor to join our team in Korattur, Chennai. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for storytelling, robust technical skills across editing tools, and the drive to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos (reels, ads, promos, YouTube content, social media clips, etc.)
Add effects, transitions, graphics, text, color correction, and sound design to enhance video quality
Collaborate with the content/marketing team to understand project requirements and brand tone
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality
Stay updated with the latest editing trends, formats, and techniques (especially for social media)
Organize and maintain video files, footage, and project assets systematically

Requirements
1–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing




Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar
Working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
A creative mindset with attention to detail
Ability to take feedback constructively and work independently
Positive time management and responsibility toward deliverables
High potential to learn, adapt, and grow within the role
Must be based in or able to commute to Korattur, Chennai
