We’re Hiring: Junior Cybersecurity Engineer – Medical Devices

Position: Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

Type: Full-time

Experience: 2–4 years

Location: Chennai, India

We are looking for a cybersecurity engineer to work on MCU-based and connected medical devices with BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Implement cybersecurity controls for embedded medical devices.

Perform security assessment, penetration testing, fuzz testing and vulnerability assessment.

Conduct threat modeling and attack-surface analysis.

Analyze firmware and embedded interfaces including UART, JTAG/SWD, SPI, I²C and USB.

Perform network/protocol security testing.

Support cybersecurity risk management, verification and security documentation.

Support SBOM, CVE analysis and vulnerability management.





Work with embedded development teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

2–4 years in embedded/IoT cybersecurity, product security or penetration testing.

Solid understanding of MCU-based embedded systems, C/C++ and firmware.

Hands-on knowledge of embedded/network security testing tools.

Understanding of secure boot, cryptography, TLS, certificates and secure firmware updates.

Experience with firmware reverse engineering/binary analysis is a plus.

IEC 81001-5-1, IEC TR 60601-4-5, IEC 62304

SSDLC & cybersecurity risk management

Threat modeling and vulnerability assessment

SBOM, CVE/CVSS, CWE

NIST / OWASP IoT security practices
