Junior Academic Counselor (Intern)Type: Full-Time Location: Kakkanad, Cochin - On-site Compensation: Stipend Provided We are looking for a high-energy, highly organized Intern to join our team as a Junior Academic Counselor. This dynamic role requires balancing proactive sales outreach with strict administrative discipline and frontline student support throughout the learner lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities: Admissions, Sales &

- Pipeline Management: SLA Enforcement: Answer every walk-in, phone, Whats App, and website enquiry within 24 hours. A lead nobody has called is the absolute highest priority on your screen. Outreach &
- Greeter: Execute outbound telecalling (cold/warm), deliver consultative program pitches, and act as the front-of-house greeter for walk-in prospects.

Data Discipline: Capture the source ("how did you hear about us?") on the first call. Log every lead and contact strictly into the portal—never use a private spreadsheet or personal phone.

Pipeline Tracking: Methodically move each lead through the funnel: new → qualified → booked → attended → enrolled, or mark it lost with a definitive reason.

Frontline Caseload

Support &

- Administration: Student Monitoring: Know every student on your caseload by name and situation.



Conduct a short check-in with each student weekly and log it in the portal. Attendance &
- Strikes: Record excused absences. Hold the first-strike conversation when a student finishes a module under 75%. Issue the second-strike written warning and call the guardian if the student is under 21. Escalate third strikes to the Senior Counselor or Operations Manager.

Gate Readiness: Spot students who will not be ready for the Thursday gate by Tuesday and defer them before the window opens to prevent wasted attempts.

Wellbeing: Notice students who are quiet, absent, or struggling, and raise the issue before it escalates to a strike.

Mentor Liaison: Coordinate between students and mentors, navigating asynchronous communication and time zones efficiently.

Requirements: Education: Any Bachelor's degree; preference for Sales or Marketing degrees. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of organization, time management, and meticulous CRM hygiene. Resilience and confidence for high-volume calling and objection handling. Ability to adapt quickly to recent administrative platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
