Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Food Chemist to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in food formulation, quality control, and regulatory compliance within the food ingredients or processing industry.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize food formulations including preservatives, emulsifiers, and bakery improvers
Conduct shelf-life studies and stability testing
Perform chemical and microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished products
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO 22000, and food safety standards
Collaborate with production teams for process optimization and scale-up
Investigate and resolve quality and production issues
Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry
3 years of experience in food industry (R&D; / QC preferred)
Strong knowledge of food additives, preservatives, and ingredient functionality




Experience with lab instruments (HPLC, GC, etc.) is an advantage
Familiarity with FSSAI and ISO standards
