Role Description The Estimation Engineer – Real Estate Projects is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for residential and commercial projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design specifications and project requirements.

Daily responsibilities include analysing drawings and technical documents, conducting rate analysis, coordinating with project and site teams for data collection, and updating estimates based on design changes or market price variations.

The Estimation

Engineer will collaborate with procurement and management teams to support tender preparation, vendor negotiations, and budget approvals, while maintaining cost databases and documentation. The role also requires monitoring project costs versus estimates, providing timely reports, and supporting value engineering initiatives to optimize quality and cost.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong BOQ preparation and project estimation skills, with experience in quantity take-offs and cost analysis.




Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of construction methods, materials, and real estate project workflows.
Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders on rates and contractual terms.
Candidates should possess strong research skills for market rate analysis, benchmarking costs, and staying updated on industry standards.
Relevant academic background such as a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and numerical abilities, attention to detail, and capability to meet deadlines in a rapid-paced project workplace.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in office.
