Position: Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer

Location: Vapi/Surat, Gujarat

Experience: 2–5 years in a relevant field

Qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates and quotations for electrical control panels and projects.
Design and develop HT/LT electrical panels as per project requirements.
Select and size electrical components, including switchgear, relays, transformers, fuses, contactors, MCCBs, and other control components.
Break down projects into individual components and accurately estimate material, labour, equipment, overhead, and other associated costs.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.
Support electrical design, documentation, and estimation activities.

Required Skills




Sound knowledge of HT/LT electrical panels and industrial electrical systems.
Robust understanding of electrical component selection and sizing.
Proficiency in electrical estimation and design software.
Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and preparation of electrical drawings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valuable leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Software Competency
InstaQuote or similar electrical estimation software.
AutoCAD 2D.
Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of electrical design and estimation tools will be an added advantage.
