Role Description The General Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care, including pre-operative evaluation, operative management, and post-operative follow-up for a wide range of conditions. Daily responsibilities include assessing patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, planning surgical interventions, and performing surgeries in accordance with current clinical standards.

The role involves close collaboration with other specialists, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure safe and effective treatment and continuity of care.

The General

Surgeon will also participate in clinical documentation, quality improvement activities, and patient education.



This is a full time, on-site role based in the Kutch district.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine and General Surgery, with the ability to manage diverse acute and elective surgical cases.
Competence or exposure in related surgical specialties such as Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery to support multidisciplinary care when needed.
Understanding or experience in Ophthalmology and other clinical areas beneficial to holistic patient assessment and referral coordination.
Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery from an accredited institution.
Valid medical registration and licensure to practice as a surgeon, in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in clinical decision-making, operative techniques, emergency management, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team-based environment, and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
Willingness to work on-site in the Kutch district and contribute to community healthcare services.
