Knitwear Designer

Experience: 2–5 Years

Job Responsibilities:
Develop creative and commercial knitwear designs as per market/customer requirements.
Research fashion trends, colors, yarns, patterns, and knit structures.
Develop recent designs, samples, and seasonal collections.
Prepare design sheets/technical specifications and coordinate with sampling & production teams.
Review samples and ensure design, fit, quality, and construction meet requirements.
Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams for smooth development.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of knitwear design, construction, yarns, colors, and fabrics.
Valuable understanding of knitting techniques, stitches, gauges, and garment finishing.




Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/CorelDRAW or similar design software.
Strong creativity, trend awareness, communication, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple designs and meet deadlines.

Key KPIs:
Timely development of current designs and samples.
Sample approval and minimum revision rate.
Design quality and production accuracy.
Commercial viability of developed designs.
Effective coordination with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
