Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Handicraft Merchandiser role based in the Greater Delhi Area.

The Handicraft

Merchandiser will coordinate with artisans, manufacturers, and suppliers to develop, source, and manage handicraft product ranges.

Responsibilities include tracking samples and orders, ensuring product quality and timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of inventory, pricing, and specifications. The role will involve regular communication with buyers and retail partners, preparing product presentations,



and assisting with merchandising plans for exhibitions, retail outlets, and online listings. The merchandiser will also monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to support effective product positioning and sales growth.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills for coordinating with artisans, suppliers, buyers, and internal teams.

- Customer Service and Retail experience to manage buyer expectations and ensure satisfactory product delivery and presentation.

- Sales and Marketing skills to support product promotions, pricing strategies, and market expansion for handicraft lines.

- Knowledge of handicraft products, materials, and production processes, with attention to quality and detail.

- Ability to manage multiple orders, timelines, and documentation with strong organizational and follow-up skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for reporting, data management, and product catalogs.

- Prior experience in merchandising, handicraft export, or related retail/fashion sectors is an advantage.

- Relevant diploma or degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Textile, Business, or a related field preferred.
