Role & responsibilities
Assist in conducting practical classes and proper use of laboratory equipment.
Prepare laboratory rooms, equipment and other materials before practical sessions.
Issue and collect laboratory equipment and maintain proper records.
Ensure that all laboratory instruments and materials are clean, functional and properly stored.
Maintain an updated stock/inventory register of laboratory equipment and consumables.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline in the laboratory.
Report damaged, missing, or defective equipment to the concerned teacher or authority.
Maintain records related to laboratory usage, stock, maintenance, and practical activities.
Help arrange laboratory demonstrations, practical examinations, science exhibitions, and other educational activities.
Perform other laboratory-related duties assigned by the Head of the Institution/Department or competent authority.
