Metallurgy Engineer jobs at chennai 2026 Full Conduct metallurgical, mechanical and physical testing of metals, steel and other materials as per defined standards. Perform testing using metallurgical laboratory instruments and equipment and ensure accuracy of test results. Support recent product and material development through feasibility studies, material characterization and testing.
Handle furnace validation and process equipment validation activities. Maintain the metallurgy laboratory, equipment and records as per defined procedures. Prepare and maintain test reports, validation documents and laboratory records.
Ensure compliance with material and metallurgical standards. Support quality improvement, root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects. Coordinate with Quality, Production and NPD teams for material and metallurgical requirements.
