Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions, dosage, quantity, and drug interactions.
Provide proper instructions to patients regarding medication use.
Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed.
Monitor medicine stock, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
Receive and arrange medicines according to pharmacy procedures.
Maintain proper documentation for controlled and high-alert medicines.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding medication-related issues.
Follow hospital pharmacy policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the pharmacy.
Report medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and stock discrepancies.
Participate in inventory audits and stock verification.
Support rational and protected use of medicines within the hospital.
