Role Description The Fundraising Intern is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the organization’s resource mobilization efforts. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will research potential donors, grants, and partners, and help maintain databases of contacts and fundraising activities. The intern will draft fundraising emails, concept notes, and basic proposals, and assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

The role includes helping plan and coordinate online campaigns, social media outreach related to fundraising, and follow-up communication with donors and supporters.



The intern will collaborate with program and administrative teams, participate in virtual meetings, and provide regular updates on fundraising progress.

Qualifications

- Ability to conduct structured research on donors, grants, and fundraising opportunities, and to summarize findings clearly.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting emails, proposals, concept notes, and presentations.
- Basic understanding of fundraising principles, nonprofit work, and donor relationship management.
- Comfort with using digital tools such as spreadsheets, online databases, video conferencing platforms, and basic document software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a remote, full-time setting.
- Cooperative mindset, professionalism, and the ability to interact respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
- Interest in social development, women’s empowerment, and community welfare; prior volunteer or nonprofit experience is an advantage.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in social work, development studies, management, communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
