Role Description The Freelance Video Editor role at Kiks Studios is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Video

Editor will work closely with the design and branding teams to edit video content that supports brand identity and digital experiences, including promotional videos, social media content, and website visuals. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, editing sequences, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics, and ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines. The role also involves collaborating on storyboards, refining video narratives, managing project files, and delivering final assets in required formats and resolutions.

Editor is expected to communicate clearly with team members, meet deadlines, and maintain a consistent quality standard across projects.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including assembling footage, refining narratives, and delivering polished final cuts.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood enhancement, and alignment with brand aesthetics.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements, titles, overlays, and brand-aligned animations.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively with creative teams, manage multiple projects, and meet established timelines.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and understanding of branding and digital content requirements.
- Relevant experience in video editing for design, branding, or marketing projects; a portfolio showcasing previous work is required.
