Hightable shows up at major industry stages (like Step Dubai Conference) and runs its own member-only events, mixers, and discovery calls to build a tight-knit, high-signal founder ecosystem.

About the Role

This is a high-ownership internship working directly in the founder's office — not a rotational or shadow role. You'll be embedded in how Hightable builds its own go-to-market motion and how it shows up in the real world through events. Expect a mix of strategic thinking (positioning, messaging, campaign planning) and hands-on execution (running event logistics, drafting content, managing vendor relationships).

You'll see how decisions get made at the founder level and be trusted to execute on them independently.

What You'll Do

Go-to-Market

- Support development of Hightable's GTM strategy — refining how we position ourselves to founders, investors, and partners
- Conduct research on the startup/VC ecosystem, competitor community platforms, and member acquisition channels
- Draft and help launch campaigns aimed at growing membership, partnerships, and event attendance
- Write and edit content: social posts (Instagram, X, LinkedIn), email campaigns, one-pagers, partner decks




- Help maintain and improve messaging consistency across the website, socials, and outbound materials

Event Marketing & Execution

- Plan and execute Hightable-hosted events end-to-end — mixers, member meetups, discovery-call series — covering venue selection, budgeting, vendor coordination, and run-of-show
- Support Hightable's presence at external conferences and startup stages (e.g., Step Dubai) — logistics, booth/branding coordination, attendee engagement
- Manage event platforms (e.g., Luma) — RSVPs, invites, reminders, and post-event communications
- Coordinate with partners, mentors, and member founders for co-hosted or sponsored events
- Handle on-the-ground event operations and be the go-to person during live events

Community & Reporting

- Support membership growth — helping process inbound applications, track pipeline, and assist onboarding
- Track and report on GTM and event metrics: attendance, engagement rates, campaign performance, funnel conversion, event ROI
- Maintain internal trackers/dashboards (Notion, Sheets, etc.) so the founder has real-time visibility
- Take on ad hoc strategic or operational projects directly from the founder as priorities shift

Who You Are

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (Business, Marketing,



Communications, or related — aptitude matters more than major)
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, comfortable drafting content and representing the brand in person at events
- Highly organized with strong project management instincts — can juggle events, content, and outreach simultaneously without dropping details
- Thrives in ambiguity and startup pace; comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
- Genuinely curious about the startup/VC ecosystem — not just "marketing" broadly, but GTM strategy and community-building specifically
- Comfortable with basic data work: reading a funnel, calculating event ROI, building a simple tracker
- Available for occasional evening/weekend hours around live events

Nice to Have

- Prior internship or project experience in marketing, events, startups, or VC
- Familiarity with tools like Luma, Notion, Canva, HubSpot, or similar
- Existing interest or informal network within the startup/founder community
- A portfolio of past campaigns, events, or content you've led or contributed to
