Role Description The Food Production Manager at Lickicious is a full-time role based in Indore (Khudel).

On a day-to-day basis, this role oversees end-to-end production activities, manage operators and ensuring that pet food products are manufactured safely, consistently, and in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production runs, coordinating raw material availability, supervising production staff, and optimizing workflows to meet volume and cost targets. Additional tasks include monitoring equipment performance, maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, preparing production reports, and continuously improving production processes.

Qualifications





- Candidates should be an Engineer with BE/B.Tech. Degree or a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in pet food or food manufacturing is an advantage.
- Production experience (minimum 2 years and maximum 10 years of experience) in Food Production or Extruder/ Coater based systems
- Possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead, train, and motivate production teams while maintaining a safe and respectful work setting.
- Age of the Candidate should be between 25-32 Years
- Candidates should possess Production Planning and Production Management skills to organise schedules, manage resources, and ensure efficient, on-time output.
- Candidates should possess experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations to understand industry standards, food safety requirements, and customer expectations.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills to address production issues and drive process improvements.
- A bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in pet food or food manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai in a hybrid setup and adapt to the needs of a growing start-up environment.
