Role Description The Poultry Sales Officer role is a full time, in office position based in Namakkal. The role involves managing and growing sales of poultry feed and related products by building strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and channel partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting customers, understanding their requirements, providing product information and basic technical guidance, and ensuring timely order collection and follow-up.

Officer will monitor market trends and competitor activity, support promotional campaigns,



and coordinate with internal teams for smooth sales operations and customer service. The role also includes identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.

Qualifications
Strong Sales Operations skills with experience in territory management and achieving sales targets.
Proficiency in Channel Sales, including managing distributors and retail partners in the poultry or agro sector.
Customer Service and Communication skills to handle inquiries, build relationships, and resolve issues effectively.
Lead Generation skills to identify prospective customers, develop pipelines, and convert opportunities into sales.
Basic knowledge of poultry farming or animal nutrition is an advantage.
Ability to work in the field, travel within the territory, and operate independently with minimal supervision.
Relevant diploma or degree in agriculture, animal science, business, or a related field preferred.
Comfort with maintaining records, using mobile or desktop tools for reporting, and following company compliance standards.
