Ensure high standards of patient safety, infection prevention, and quality of care.
Conduct regular rounds and monitor patient-care activities.
Assess nursing staff performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
Coordinate orientation, training, competency assessments, and continuing education for nursing staff.
Monitor nursing documentation, medication administration, and adherence to clinical procedures.
Investigate and report incidents, complaints, and adverse events and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with doctors, allied healthcare professionals, administration, and other departments.
Monitor nursing supplies, equipment, and inventory and ensure appropriate utilization.
Participate in quality-improvement, accreditation, audit, and patient-safety initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
Prepare and review nursing-related reports, statistics, and performance indicators.
Promote skilled conduct, teamwork, communication, and a positive work setting.
