Job Role: PL/SQL + Python Developer

Location: Pune, India

Experience: 5+ Years

We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL & Python Developer with 5+ years of hands-on development experience. The candidate should have robust expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Python development, with experience in database programming, data processing, automation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

The resource will work closely with business analysts, application teams, and other technology teams to develop and support applications and data-processing solutions. Prior experience in the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and SQL queries.
Develop Python scripts/applications for data processing, automation, validation, and system integration.
Analyze and optimize SQL/PL/SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Develop data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and validation processes.
Troubleshoot application, database, and data-related production issues.
Perform root-cause analysis and provide timely resolution of defects and incidents.
Work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.




Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Collaborate with business, QA, database, and application teams.
Follow coding standards, version control, testing, and Agile development practices.

Required Skills
Oracle PL/SQL – Robust hands-on experience with stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, complex SQL queries, and performance tuning.
Python – Robust development/scripting experience, including data processing and automation.
SQL & Oracle Database – Strong knowledge of joins, subqueries, CTEs, analytical/window functions, query optimization, and database concepts.
Data Analysis & Troubleshooting – Experience with data validation, reconciliation, debugging, and production issue resolution.
5+ years of relevant development experience.

Preferred Skills
Banking and Financial Services ( BFSI ) domain experience.
Experience working with financial/transactional data.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jira, and Agile/Scrum.
Knowledge of ETL/data integration concepts.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
