Senior Accountant Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with accounting software and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform bank, ledger, and balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare financial reports, management reports, and variance analysis.
Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.
Monitor receivables, payables, expenses, and cash flow.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with auditors and provide required schedules and supporting documentation.




Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
Identify process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.
Guide junior accountants and review their work where required.
Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related requirements.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
4–8 years of relevant accounting experience;

experience in a senior accounting role preferred.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
Good understanding of reconciliations, month-end closing, and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
CA/CPA/ACCA

Pay: ₹14,427.57 - ₹45,748.48 per month
