They prepare and structure data for a data analyst team, which owns the reporting and dashboarding function. The role is heavily focused on transforming data, defining business logic, and ensuring data quality across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis.

Validate and reconcile data across source systems.

Investigate reporting discrepancies and determine underlying causes.

Define relationships between data objects, tables, and business entities.

Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Work with multiple data sources to prepare and structure data for reporting and analytics consumption.
