Job Summary

nWe are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Databricks and up-to-date data engineering practices. The candidate will support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions to enable analytics and reporting needs.

nKey Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks.
n
- Build and support data ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured data.
n
- Work with large datasets using Apache Spark (PySpark).
n
- Develop and maintain Delta Lake tables and data transformations.
n
- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and senior engineers to understand data requirements.
n
- Perform data validation, data quality checks, and troubleshooting.
n
- Support deployment and monitoring of data pipelines in production environments.
n
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering.
n

nRequired Skills

n

n
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
n
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark .
n
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data transformation and analysis.
n
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.
n
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred).
n
- Knowledge of Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
n
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts.
n
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
n

nPreferred Skills

- Exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF).
n
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and data integration.
n
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools.
n
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
