About the Role The Social Continent is looking for an experienced Software Engineer who can independently build, deploy, and maintain production-ready software. The candidate will be responsible for developing current features, improving existing applications, and solving technical and production issues.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade software.
Take ownership of software modules from requirement to deployment.
Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Debug and resolve production issues and technical problems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
Collaborate with product, QA, and other teams to deliver features.
Contribute to application architecture, scalability, and security.

Required Skills




4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong programming skills in Java / Python / Node.js / TypeScript.
Solid understanding of OOP, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and backend development.
Good knowledge of SQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL, database design, and query optimization.
Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Understanding of HLD/LLD, system design, and scalable architecture.
Experience working on live/production applications.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Candidates from product-based companies, SaaS, EdTech, FinTech, or technology startups with strong hands-on experience in building and deploying software products will be preferred.
