Operate shot blasting machines safely and efficiently.
Prepare components and equipment for blasting as per production requirements.
Ensure surface cleanliness standards such as SA 2, SA 2.5, and SA 3 are achieved.
Load and unload materials using appropriate handling equipment.
Monitor blasting media condition and replenish as required.
Inspect blasted surfaces for quality and conformity to specifications.
Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
Maintain records of blasting operations and material usage.
Adhere to safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Painting departments.
Report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to supervisors immediately.

Required Qualifications
ITI (Fitter/Welder/Turner/Mechanic)



or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in shot blasting, sand blasting, or surface preparation operations.
Knowledge of surface treatment standards and industrial painting requirements.
Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.

Experience
