Role Description The Warehouse Worker role at CBSC BOOK SHOP is a full time, in office position based in Coimbatore.

The Warehouse

Worker is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing educational materials, ensuring accurate storage and inventory management. Day-to-day tasks include packing and preparing orders for shipment, loading and unloading deliveries, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work workplace. The role also involves verifying shipment documents, reporting discrepancies, and coordinating with the publishing and logistics teams to ensure timely distribution of products.

Qualifications




Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including checking deliveries, verifying documentation, and managing inventory records.
Candidates should possess skills in Packing and order preparation, ensuring materials are correctly labeled, protected, and ready for dispatch.
Ability to follow safety procedures, maintain an organized workspace, and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
Basic reading and math skills to interpret labels, counts, and shipping documents; prior warehouse experience is an advantage.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
