Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Playwright . The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions, contributing to test strategy and framework development, and providing technical leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to automation testing initiatives using Java and Playwright .
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
Develop automated UI and API test scripts.
Review automation code and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.
Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and support defect resolution.
Collaborate with development, QA, product, and other stakeholders.
Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.




Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Contribute to continuous integration and automation practices.

Required Skills
7–10 years of relevant experience in software testing/automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Java .
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright .
Experience in UI automation and test framework development.
Positive understanding of API testing and automation.
Experience with debugging and troubleshooting automation failures.
Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring.
Valuable understanding of Agile methodologies.
Solid communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred: Product-based company experience and educational background from reputed institutions such as IIT, NIT, or similar institutes.
