About the Role
- The Community Lead is the on-ground anchor for Openhouse within an assigned apartment community.
- The role combines community management, class operations, parent engagement, customer experience, and business growth. You will work closely with teachers, parents, apartment stakeholders, and the Openhouse team to ensure classes run smoothly and families consistently have a high-quality experience.
- You will also be responsible for retaining existing families, engaging prospective parents, driving enrolments, and growing revenue within the community.
Your Responsibilities
Classroom & Teacher Support
- Work closely with teachers to ensure smooth execution of classes.
- Ensure required learning materials and resources are available before every session.
- Support classroom management when required, including helping children settle into classes and managing transitions.
- Maintain classroom readiness and ensure a positive learning workplace.
- Coordinate teacher schedules, substitutions, and backups when required.
Quality & Feedback
- Observe classes and share structured feedback with teachers based on Openhouse guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in curriculum delivery, class flow, and overall learning experience.
- Identify classroom or operational challenges and work with the Cluster Head and relevant teams to resolve them.
- Gather feedback from parents and learners and translate insights into improvements.
Parent Communication & Community Engagement
- Be the primary point of contact for parents within the assigned community.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with enrolled and prospective families.
- Support parents with information related to:
- Class schedules and teacher timings
- Programs and batch availability
- Fees and payments
- Make-up classes and substitutions
- Program or operational updates
- Handle parent queries and concerns with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Support current families through enquiries, trials, onboarding, and enrolment.
- Organise community interactions, events, trials, and engagement initiatives when required.
Revenue, Retention & Growth
- Take ownership of revenue and enrolment growth within the assigned community.
- Build strong relationships with existing families to drive retention and renewals.
- Proactively engage new parents within the apartment and introduce relevant Openhouse programs.
- Clearly communicate program value, schedules, pricing, and learning outcomes.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective families.
- Track leads, follow-ups, trials, conversions, renewals, and drop-offs.
- Work towards filling batches and maximising capacity across programs.
- Identify opportunities to grow participation across different programs and age groups.
- Share regular updates on enrolments, revenue, retention, and parent feedback with the Cluster Head.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate day-to-day schedules between teachers, parents, and apartment stakeholders.
- Ensure attendance, make-up classes, teacher substitutions, and other operational requirements are managed smoothly.
- Maintain accurate records of enrolments, leads, follow-ups, and parent communication.
- Collaborate closely with educators, operations teams, and Cluster Heads to ensure a consistent Openhouse experience.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 0–3 years. Freshers with solid communication skills and the right aptitude are welcome to apply.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience or exposure to education, early childhood, customer service, community management, sales, marketing, hospitality, or other parent/customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with parents, children, and educators.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable handling parent conversations, queries, concerns, and enrolment discussions independently.
- Strong customer-service mindset with an ability to resolve issues thoughtfully.
- Comfortable working around children and classroom environments.
- Organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to take ownership of targets, follow-ups, and outcomes.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, on-ground environment.

Compensation
- CTC: ₹2.5–5 LPA, depending on experience and fit.
- Work Calendar
- 6 days a week
- 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Timings may vary slightly depending on class schedules, events, and community requirements.
- The role is fully on-site and may require weekend availability based on program schedules.
