About the RoleWe are looking for a CMM Operator to join our team in Ahmedabad.

The role involves carrying out precision inspection and measurement of engineering components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and supporting the technical team in delivering accurate and reliable inspection results.

This is an opportunity for a Mechanical or Automobile Engineer interested in building a career in CMM inspection, metrology and precision engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CMM equipment for dimensional inspection and measurement of components.
- Perform inspections as per engineering drawings, specifications and inspection requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Carry out dimensional and geometric measurements accurately.
- Assist in preparing inspection programs and measurement reports.
- Record and document inspection results accurately.
- Identify measurement deviations and communicate findings to the technical team.
- Ensure proper handling and care of CMM and other metrology equipment.
- Follow established inspection,



quality and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with technical and quality teams for timely completion of inspection assignments.
- Work on components and projects across different engineering and manufacturing applications.

Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Solid interest in CMM, metrology and precision measurement.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of dimensional measurement and inspection.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn CMM operation, inspection methodologies and metrology practices.

Prior experience in CMM operation will be an added advantage. What You Can Expect
