Role & responsibilities
Visit assigned locations and take accurate water meter readings.
Record readings through mobile/handheld devices or prescribed formats.
Verify unusually high or low consumption and conduct re-readings where required.
Inspect meters for leakage, damage, malfunction, tampering, or unauthorized connections.
Report meter defects, inaccessible meters, leaks, and other abnormalities to the supervisor.
