Role Description The Category Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Gurgaon. This position is responsible for managing product categories in window apparel and soft furnishings, including planning assortments, pricing, and vendor development to drive category growth and profitability. The role involves analyzing sales and market data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.

The Category

Manager collaborates with procurement, sales, and design teams to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure product availability and quality. The role also includes monitoring competitor activity, preparing category performance reports,



and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance customer experience and brand positioning.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in category management, including assortment planning and pricing strategy.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales, market, and customer data and inform decisions.
- Experience in procurement and contract negotiation, with the ability to manage suppliers and vendor performance.
- Background in sales, with the ability to collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue and category growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in home décor, interior design, or furnishings categories is a plus.
