We are looking for a Backend Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and Python to join our engineering team. You will build and maintain server-side applications, RESTful APIs, database systems, and business logic. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and Dev Ops teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful or Graph QL APIs using Node.js and Python. Build server-side logic and application workflows. Develop backend services using Node.js frameworks and Python frameworks such as Fast API, Django, or Flask.

Design clean database schemas and write optimized queries. Work with relational and No SQL databases. Develop secure authentication and authorization systems using JWT, OAuth, or similar methods. Connect third-party services such as payment gateways, cloud storage, and messaging platforms.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Implement caching solutions such as Redis when required. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Conduct and participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot bugs and production issues.

Work with frontend developers, product managers, and Dev Ops teams. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, requirement discussions, and effort estimation.

Required

Skills2+ years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js and/or Python. Strong knowledge of modern Java Script and ES6+. Good knowledge of Python programming and backend development. Good understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, Async/Await, and the Node.js Event Loop. Hands-on experience with Express.js, Nest JS, Fast API, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks. Strong understanding of RESTful API development.

Experience with middleware, error handling,



authentication, and API security.

Experience with Postgre SQL, My SQL, Mongo DB, or similar databases. Knowledge of database schema design and query optimization.

Experience with ORM/ODM tools such as Prisma, Type ORM, Mongoose, Sequelize, SQLAlchemy, or Django ORM. Knowledge of Git and version control workflows. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

Basic understanding of Docker and Linux. Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment processes. Type Script experience is preferred.
