Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in the daily operation of a multi-cuisine restaurant. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, guest-service, team-management, and operational skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations and service standards.
- Supervise, motivate, and coordinate the restaurant team.
- Ensure excellent guest service and professionally handle feedback and complaints.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
- Conduct staff briefings and support training and development.
- Drive sales through effective upselling and guest engagement.
- Monitor restaurant costs, wastage, inventory, and operational controls.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, stores, and management.
- Support VIP dining,



group bookings, corporate events, and special functions.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, and service standards.
- Act as the Restaurant Manager in their absence.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant/F&B; operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in a multi-cuisine or fine-dining restaurant is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest-relations skills.
- Positive knowledge of restaurant service, POS, and basic operational controls.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
