Job Purpose:
To plan, schedule, monitor, and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure machines and projects are completed on time, within the planned resources, and as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare production and project plans based on customer delivery schedules.
Prepare machine-wise / project-wise planning schedules.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, Fabrication, CNC, Assembly and Quality departments.
Prepare and monitor BOM and material availability.
Follow up with Purchase for required raw materials, bought-out items and components.
Prepare production work orders / job cards as per approved drawings and BOM.
Monitor daily production progress against planned targets.
Identify delays, bottlenecks and resource requirements.
Maintain daily/weekly/monthly production planning reports.
Track machine manufacturing activities from drawing release → material procurement → fabrication/machining → assembly → testing → dispatch.
Coordinate with Design for drawing/BOM release and revisions.
Coordinate with Quality for inspection and clearance at required stages.




Prepare dispatch and delivery plans.
Maintain project status and communicate delays to management.
Support capacity planning for manpower, machines and production resources.
Maintain planning records, production schedules and project documentation.
Suggest improvements to reduce lead time, waiting time and production delays.
Ensure planning follows company procedures and customer/GMP requirements where applicable.

Experience Required

Planning Engineer: 3–6 years

Preferred experience:
Machinery manufacturing
Pharmaceutical/GMP machinery
Packaging machinery
Engineering/manufacturing industry
Production planning & project planning
ERP/MRP systems
MS Excel and planning tools

Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
Robust knowledge of Production Planning, BOM, MRP/ERP and manufacturing processes.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
