Role Description The Apparel Designer at HAIR RAP BY YOYO will design and develop salon-related apparel and accessories that align with the brand’s creative and trendsetting identity. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring close collaboration with the salon team to create uniforms, fashion pieces, and merchandise that complement the overall client experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing designs, selecting appropriate textiles, finalizing trims and finishes, preparing technical specifications, and overseeing fittings to ensure comfort, functionality, and style.

The Apparel





Designer will work with suppliers and manufacturers, manage samples and revisions, and maintain quality standards across all apparel products. The role also involves staying updated on fashion trends, integrating them into the brand aesthetic, and contributing ideas that enhance the visual and professional presence of the salon.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with the ability to translate concepts into cohesive apparel collections.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Textiles, including fabric properties, durability, comfort, and appropriate usage for salon environments.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Trims and Fitting, ensuring garments are well-constructed, functional, and tailored to diverse body types.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Experience in designing uniforms, workwear, or branded apparel is highly beneficial.
- Ability to sketch, create technical drawings, and work with pattern makers and manufacturers.
- Attention to detail, robust aesthetic sense, and the ability to work on-site in a collaborative, client-focused environment in Ahmedabad.
- Good communication skills and the capacity to manage multiple design projects and deadlines.
