Role Description The AI & Data Science Mentor is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding learners through hands-on projects in machine learning, data science, and related fields. The mentor will design and review practical exercises, explain complex concepts in accessible language, and provide structured feedback on code, models, and project reports. Day-to-day tasks include hosting live sessions, resolving technical doubts, helping learners debug code, and supporting them in building end-to-end projects and portfolios.

The mentor will collaborate with the curriculum team to refine content, ensure alignment with industry practices, and track learner progress through assessments and checkpoints.



The role also involves fostering a supportive learning environment, encouraging clarity, action, and steady progress for learners from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in AI and data science, including machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and statistical analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Python and key libraries (such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch), and version control tools like Git/GitHub.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, provide constructive feedback, and mentor learners with varying levels of experience.
- Experience designing or delivering project-based learning, bootcamps, or training programs in technology or data-related domains.
- Familiarity with real-world data workflows, including data cleaning, feature engineering, visualization, and deployment of models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and robust organizational skills for managing multiple learners and projects remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Any prior industry experience in AI, data science, analytics, or software engineering, and exposure to EdTech or mentoring roles is an advantage.
