Hiring: Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer/ FDE

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Agentic Forward Deployed Engineer to partner directly with enterprise clients and lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered business transformation agents.

This is a strategic leadership role combining consulting, solution architecture, hands-on engineering, and team leadership to deliver enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to identify and shape agentic AI opportunities.
- Design, build, and deploy single and multi-agent systems using Python and leading Agent Development Kits (ADKs).
- Develop agent capabilities including RAG, prompt engineering, context engineering, memory, tool/function calling, MCP integration, and orchestration.
- Lead evaluation-driven development, Responsible AI practices, AgentOps, DevSecOps, and production governance.
- Integrate agents with enterprise platforms using APIs, secure authentication, and up-to-date integration patterns.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers while driving delivery excellence and reusable accelerators.

Required Skills

- 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Architecture, Technology Consulting, or Digital Transformation.




- Expert-level Python development and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with one or more frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK, or AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
- Strong understanding of:
- Agentic AI & Multi-Agent Systems
- RAG & Context Engineering
- Prompt Engineering
- MCP & Tool Calling
- Agent Evaluation Frameworks
- AgentOps, DevSecOps & Enterprise Security
- Proven client-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience leading engineering teams and enterprise-scale delivery programs.

Preferred

- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
- Domain expertise in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Supply Chain, HR, or Compliance.
- Track record of building reusable AI accelerators and enterprise AI solutions.
