Qubist Solutions is expanding our engineering team, and we are looking for a rigorous and detail-oriented Aerospace System Testing Engineer. In this role, you will bridge system design, software, and hardware to ensure our airborne products meet the highest levels of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do:

- Design, develop, and execute system-level test plans and procedures for complex avionics architectures.
- Ensure bi-directional requirements traceability from aircraft-level safety objectives down to implementation artifacts.
- Configure and manage Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), System Integration Labs (SIL), and automated test environments.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve defects and root-cause anomalies during integration.
- Generate objective evidence and traceability matrices to support SOI (Stage of Involvement) audits and FAA/EASA certification.

The Standards You Will Drive: You will directly apply the core ecosystem of aerospace certification guidelines to our testing lifecycle:

- ARP4754A: Validating system architectures and requirement allocations.
- ARP4761: Utilizing FHA, PSSA,



and SSA outputs to drive safety-critical failure-mode testing.
- DO-178C: Executing high-level/system-level software integration tests.
- DO-254: Verifying complex electronic hardware behavior at the system and LRU levels.
- DO-330: Defining Tool Operational Requirements and validating automated verification toolchains.
- DO-356A: Testing system vulnerabilities and verifying airworthiness cybersecurity architectures.

What You Bring to the Table:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of hands-on avionics testing and integration experience in a certified program.
- Proficiency in Requirements Management tools (DOORS, Jama, Polarion).
- Experience with test automation scripting (Python, C/C++) and aviation data buses (ARINC 429, AFDX, MIL-STD-1553B).
- A proven track record of generating certification artifacts for regulatory audits.
