Job Description – Solar Technician

Position: Solar Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a Solar Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of solar power systems. The candidate must be comfortable with field work, frequent travel, and working at different project/customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and service solar PV systems and related electrical equipment.
Assist with solar panel installation, wiring, cabling, inverter connections, earthing, and other electrical works.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical and technical issues at project sites.
Attend customer sites for service, maintenance, and complaint resolution.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar systems.
Support Site Engineers and Project Teams during installation and commissioning.
Ensure all work is completed according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly.
Provide timely updates regarding site work and service activities.




Travel to different project/customer locations as assigned by the company.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related electrical trade

Requirements
Two-wheeler mandatory.
Valid driving licence mandatory.
Must be willing to travel extensively for field and site work.
Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, installation, and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently at customer/project sites.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Previous experience in the solar industry, electrical installation, or maintenance will be an advantage.
