Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Indore. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, and monitoring cash flow.

The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and support internal and external audits.



The position requires close collaboration with operations and management teams to provide timely financial reports and insights that support business planning.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.
- Understanding of local tax laws, GST, and regulatory compliance relevant to the mining and metals industry.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in office in Indore and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or mining and metals sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
