Role Description The Academic Coordinator at Kids International School will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of academic programs and curricula for assigned grades and subjects. This full-time, on-site role based in Jamshedpur includes collaborating with teachers to design lesson plans, aligning instruction with school standards, and ensuring consistent academic quality across classrooms.

The Academic

Coordinator will review student performance data, support academic advising, and guide interventions for learners who need additional support. Daily responsibilities include conducting classroom observations, organizing teacher training sessions, coordinating assessments and examinations, and maintaining academic records and reports.



The role also involves regular communication with school leadership, educators, and families to support student progress and uphold school policies.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Education, with knowledge of school operations and academic processes.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing, reviewing, and aligning learning materials with educational standards.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with teachers, students, and families, and for preparing clear academic reports.
- Background in Academic Advising to support student progress, provide guidance on learning pathways, and coordinate interventions.
- Ability to conduct and apply Research to improve teaching strategies, learning outcomes, and curriculum effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a school coordination, academic leadership, or teaching role is preferred.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and educational tools used for planning, reporting, and communication.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered practices and ongoing professional development.
